It's not necessarily of any value if there is a hardware problem or a malware problem...it's kind of like a tool that straightens up the furniture when it's out of place...but After that, I assumed that the problem was the update and not downloading the driver, and I figured that whatever windows just did should fix the problem. Problem : Yesterday i installed RegCure to fix my registry because i was having problems with something else unrelated, and in the end it didnt work. You will cause damage if you force things in to the slots. The data value should only be explorer.exe so delete anything after that, Do this by double clicking on shell and edit the value and hit ok Restart and thats it! If not there are other steps you can try. Not everyone has 50 PCs laying around to test on lol. Put your Windows disk in the ROM drive and reboot. For what it is worth, I experienced the same slowdown on switching users and loging in...
