I have a TV, headphones and some other general entertainment electronics from Samsung and they've never failed me, but nothing PC related. Apple SCSI drives were better because they used high quality datacenter quality drives. As a storage drive alone it's rather expensive (26.9p/GB) but it performs well and should keep out just about any civilian hacker. EssJ Volume would have no effect on rate. The last HDD I ordered from there came wrapped in a few layers of brown paper and stuffed in a box.
