Then i go to Speedfan application and i can maintain this speed. then I guess I have to just add a new post every time I have additional information. Just tested the first American McGee's Alice game for a while... I'm still able to go into the bios and load windows in safe mode using the card, but I cant go into normal windows (because of the black screen after the I made the mistake of putting some 1.5mm on a 6970 card I had that I had previously used on a 4870x2. You can also read up on the specific driver you are using and google it to see if others are experiencing troubles, you may have to use an older driver. 2)

Im not sure if its the video card or the pcie express slot. There is no error or crash message. A quick check on this card at Newegg shows that some people had problems with overheating because of the fan quitting; a manufacturer response to one of the reviews dated March I already thought its a hardware issue, but the card ran perfectly when my friend used it.
