If a larger drive is formatted from the Kurzweil, the drive will be formatted to 2048 Mb and the rest of the drive capacity ignored. Once they're aligned the NAS shouldn't have any issues. You would also need Mac OSX recovery media too.There is no such thing as a "Mac Drive". I am not sure if any folders on my hard drive are protected. Source
