So to sum things up like other people also said its just better off using the analog connection to a pc soundcard and let the soundcard do all the decoding. This is what I THINK I know so far: - I had to disable the digital decoder of the Audigy 2 to allow my speakers to decode. However, i do get the complete test (front left, center, front right...etc) when in the speaker setup in the software program.

Have you fixed center speaker or not? EDIT: I just noticed, to no surprise, that if I click digital output only I wont get any sound b/c Im not connected via a digital cable =(. Also, I tend to prefer the configurability of CMSS simulated surround from a stereo signal over the DOLBY Prologic that the Z-680s give.
