Sometimes that will help a connection problem. WRONG. Remove all graphic drivers uninstall your card and reinstall card and load latest drivers from the web and not you disk and see if that works. then, i removed the fan. I took my Ati Radeon 9800 Pro out, and put in this other card, and then replaced the other card back with my Ati Radeon 9800 Pro.
All problems "should" now be solved. the top end video cards such as the radeon 9800 pro 128 mb and higher .. it was worth a try, right? What voltage should the Radeon 9800 pro be running at? nothing seemed to help. Sometimes it will say "Radeon 9800 PRO installed, reboot now" then when I reboot, it will give me this error "Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)"

here's why: the 9800 pro (and its relatives) all run pretty hot, and i'm thinking that combining a hot CPU with a hot GPU might produce this sort of crashes. crashes started occurring within 10 minutes again. I was wondering if all you peeps were runing your radeon cards on asus motherboards....i had loads of problems simply because .. so, it looked as if i was stuck with an uber graphics card, destined to run at less-than-uber potential. i've been digging into this for the last week or so, and i'm pretty sure that i've narrowed the problem down to a heat issue. has anyone else tried a similar approach?
So does anyone know what drivers will work with this card?
