Radeon HD 6950 Not Being Recognized

I want to purchase a AMD Radeon HD 6950 (Amazon.com: XFX AMD Radeon HD 6950 800M 2 GB DDR5 Dual MiniDP HDMI Dual DVI PCI-E Video Card HD695XCNFC: Electronics). Either way. Any advice on how to fix this problem is appreciated, I removed the gpu and put it back in with no success.   5. yes, i pushed and gave a little shake to any connections that i could see where connected to the gpu/mobo i took the power supply cable out of one socket and
