If the machine is left alone, it will freeze there. I did not actually get round to offloading all the data and programs from the omnibook and so in fact the Vaio sat on my desk unused. A student brought in her Sony Vaio laptop when we were about to close so I didn't get much info out of it. I know I'm not the only one who's experienced this. So I thought I screwed up big time as it wouldn't even boot into Startup repair like before that means I won't even be able to restore from the recovery partition. This was first and last time I ever bought anything from them!
