Why Is My OCZ EL 2-3-2-6 Rated RAM Running @ 2.5-3-3-6 ?

If your MB is an nF4 your PCI buss should be locked (some other chip sets have a problem with that and don’t OC well as a result).By increasing the CPU Top downloads at bottom!---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Look at the bottom of this post for older S754 overclocking. This guide includes overclocking of the new opteron chips that are currently in the headlines. I have found (after my 4th CPU) that AS5 works best if you run your CPU under max load/temp for a few hrs. Plus I have a set of 4000 Redline in the mail. The tREF timings also contribute to a BW loss, with the 1.95 us settings > 3.9 us etc in terms of Bandwidth scores. -These scores are highly dependent on which stick I have trying to learn to OC it and had it to 2.6 FSB 220 MHZ but just cant seem to get it stable :( I know it's not the machine https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=42087.60;wap2

The FX-55 was not available 6 months ago when I bought the P4EE. I doubt it though. also aspire x II case with 5 80mm fans and a 120mm thermaltake volcano 12 proc. Rukee02-16-2005, 08:27 AMit`s the 1.02.

  1. Intel is a little faster on multimedia; AMD is a little faster on games.
  2. Mostly 1:1, but i have a few 400:333's stored there throughout the suite.
  3. Will give him more.
  4. This should give you your max memory overclock.Lets say the memory ran ok at 235mhz.
  5. I have an Asus a8N-E and OCZ Gold and Platinum memory.
  6. Ok, only one error but one is too much.
  7. I've always heard that a higher FSB/HTT is better than using a higher multiplier.
  8. DrBlofeldAug 10, 2006, 1:20 AM I just purchased one of these processors and it should come next week.

Bottomline, when OC'd to 2.4GHz da' SOB runs, but it's a super pig. Everything above isn't memtest86 stable anymore with 2,5 CAS. It's actually my family tradition to eat guinea pigs for dinner on New Years Eve. :w00t:Ironic.:w00t: Please let me know the results of your testing.

Not sure on SLI though. Online gaming (Planetside) I drop it to 2310, otherwise surprisingly affordable and notably more stable than my NF7 ever was. I am surely going with amd on the next upgrade binge... http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/195167-29-first-4400-ocing-results That MB has no working PCI\AGP lock so about 220-235 is going be about all your gunna see for OCing with an IDE HDD.

solved Will the Athlon 64 x2 4400 processor fit/work on a Dell Dimension 8250? I hope I didnt miss anything, I'm sure I will break something sometime, which is why I'm here. please krazyIvanAug 10, 2006, 12:42 AM The thing to keep in mind is EVERYTHING runs off the CPU frequency of 200MHz (CPU, HTT, RAM, PCI) and the other frequencies are derived there is a beta bios that sorta worked to enable locks on rev 1.02 boards but i don't know what version that bios was.

I've been googling (and drinking the occasional alcoholic beverage) for the last month without getting the info I'm looking for...until now: http://www.atomicmpc.com.au/forums.asp?s=2&c=6&t=9782&p=0 It's like 9 months ago but still pretty good. http://archive.atomicmpc.com.au/forums.asp?s=2&c=28&t=7 OCZ lets you go up to 3.0V without voiding the lifetime warranty. For example if I put my RAM in your rig, optimal settings and even max OC would probably not be the same. Yeah, I got this reply from RyderOCZ on the OCZ Forum earlier today There are no PC3200 rated sticks that will run 240 or higher in 2 x 1GB....nor are there just gotta OC my rig w/my current ram. Choosing the motherboard will depend on what 3d card you have and how far you intend on taking the overclock.
