Win7 Homegroup Problem
If you want update privileges I had to right click the library and update the share the home group to edit.7 Voila now every 9 months or so I can replace Network & Sharing Homegroup sharing problemI can set to share printers and documents to share but when I recheck they are both turned off. Both of my computers connect individually and give me their own password, but neither sees the other so I don't get the opportunity to enter the password. But the one laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate, while it can access the other laptop and the desktop, they cannot access it's files. useful reference
Do you know what might be causing this? I have exhausted myself today trying to find an answer to this and am about to give up. Hasn't been good since XP. What this means in practice is that if you take a domain-joined laptop home, it can join the HomeGroup, the benefit being you can now access files on your home computer, useful reference

What a waste of time, as usual.
Both machine can 'see' the default homegroup and the default libraries, but neither machine can navigate into each others libraries.
