I confirmed that my problem is not the PSU when the GPU crashed on my brother's setup. @MKRaiden, I haven't found a solution. I tried doing a system... After I rebooted the screen went completely black after the "starting windows..." screen. Basically I started hitting the enter key everytime the HDD light would stop. Went back to the store I bought the motherboard from and swapped out the old one for a new. I'm glad I didn't buy this.
The problem was a missing motherboard pci system managment driver. If you were on Win7 I would say I have several older games that take ages to launch on it(one takes 9 minutes) but play fine once they do but you Also, most of my mods was just adding new things, just a few messed with textures and graphics to fry the GPU. - If you didn't flash the BIOS in the first place, don't do it unless you're very confident that it will fix it.
- The solution for me was to buy a new video card that falls within the minimum and recommended guidelines of this game.
- There is a known issue with these codecs and Avivo support.
- make sure thats' enabled if there.
