Its a Windows 7 Home Premium laptop Model SVE14118FXW I was considering putting Firefox portable on a flashdrive so I could hopefully get a scan or two going,but I don't know. Does this really mean reinstalling the operating system?-Please help! I can see where folk would think it's an update but after thousands of machines I have yet to see this issue. But as you have 2 identical hard drives, are you sure you are booting Windows Vista from the correct hard drive? When I started this thread, I had no idea if it was a Vista or a W7.
